Intervention Course Placements

These placements are part-time (Mon-Weds) and for a fixed period of 6 weeks.  These placements are for children attending a mainstream school.  

The school has to make a referral to request this type of placement and a panel will then allocate any places available.

Permanently Excluded Placements

These placements are full-time and for children who have been permanently excluded from their mainstream school.  The exclusions team for the Local Authority will allocate these places.

Local Authority Full-time Placements

The Local Authority, when deemed necessary, will allocate full-time placements for children at high risk of permanent exclusion and are awaiting EHC assessment and/or specialist provision.
